The Saunaboot offers a unique wellness experience, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing sauna session while gently floating on Lake Zurich. This innovative concept combines the traditional Finnish sauna with the tranquility of the lake, providing an unforgettable escape from daily life

A Unique Sauna Experience on the Water

Designed for 2 to 6 people, the Saunaboot is equipped with a wood-fired sauna stove, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. After warming up in the sauna, you can take a refreshing dip in the lake, making it a perfect activity for both summer and winter months.

Features and Amenities

No Boating License Required: Operate the Saunaboot without the need for a boating license.

Age Requirement: Minimum age for participants is 18 years.

Included Items: Firewood is provided to heat the sauna.

Optional Add-ons: Bathrobes, towel sets, and slippers are available for an additional fee.

Beverage Options: A selection of drinks, including non-alcoholic beverages and prosecco, can be added to your booking

Rental Details

Availability: Two Saunaboote are available from September to May; one is available from June to August.

Booking Window: Reservations must be made at least 28 hours in advance.

Rental Duration and Pricing:

Monday to Friday (Morning): 3 hours for CHF 350

Monday to Friday (Afternoon and Evening): 4 hours for CHF 450

Saturday and Sunday (All Day): 4 hours for CHF 450

Safety and Regulations

Check-in: Arrive 15 minutes before your booking for a brief introduction and boat check.

Insurance: Comprehensive insurance is included with a deductible of CHF 2,000.

Safety Equipment: Life-saving equipment is provided on board.

Operational Guidelines:

Maintain a minimum distance of 150 meters from the shore.

Approach the shore only at the designated rental station.

Always yield to passenger ships, fishing boats, and sailboats.

In case of storm warnings (indicated by an orange flashing light at 90 times per minute), immediately consult with the rental station.

The operator must not be under the influence of alcohol (maximum 0.5‰)

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation:

Full refund minus a CHF 30 fee if canceled up to 7 days before the rental.

50% refund if canceled between 7 days and 48 hours before the rental.

No refund for cancellations within 48 hours of the rental.

Rescheduling:

CHF 30 fee for changes made between 7 days and 48 hours before the rental.

CHF 80 fee for changes made less than 48 hours before the rental.

No changes allowed less than 6 hours before the rental.
